WITVAST is the easiest and most flexible way to protect your plants from excessive sunlight and heat.

Wettable powder formulation
WITVAST is a form of wettable powder and consists of calcium carbonate combined with special additives. WITVAST is specially designed for duration at least two months. Its durability as well as the percentage of shading depends on the dilution of the mixture and the climatic conditions.
Dosage and dilution
The usual application dose is oen 25 kg bag mixed with 100 liters of water, which is converted into 115 liters of mixture sufficient to cover areas of 700-1.000 m².
Mix ratio
Adding more than the regular dosage of water will provide a diluted mixture. This will affect the efficiency of our agents. The following table gives approximations of the expected durability and shading percentage versus mix ratio. The final durability depends on climate conditions.

Fill the mixing tank halfway with water and gradually add small amounts of WITVAST and water, stirring constantly with a mechanical stirrer. Add the desired amount of shading material and water gradually with continuous stirring. Stir again 10 minutes before the final application.
Application Suitable surfaces
The shading material is suitable for use on glass, plastic and polycarbonate.
Application method
The mixture can be applied with mechanical or manual sprayers.
Drying
Apply when climate conditions allow sufficient time to dry. Rainfall will wash freshly applied solution away.
Removal
Natural degradation
WITVAST adhesives will break down due to UV radiation, heat, wind and moisture. As a result, the shading material will naturally and gradually be removed. Its durability depends on the dilution of the mixture and the climatic conditions.
Residual removal
If desired, the product can be easily removed:

Through mechanical or hand brushing

Application of acidic acid such as citric acid.
Storage
WITVAST open bags can be stored in their original packaging after you have carefully closed it. The bags should be kept in a dry place away from sunlight. WITVAST does not contain harmful ingredients for the environment.
