How does Funnel trap work
The Funnel trap consists of a cover (umbrella), a funnel and a bucket. Above the umbrella there is a central receiver that places the pheromone (depending on the species). Insects attracted by the trap fly around the central pheromone receptor until they are exhausted and then fall into the trap (bucket). Insects cannot fly out of the bin. They are killed by using a soapy water solution in the bucket or a sticky substance at the base of the bucket.
When to use Funnel trap
For monitoring and capturing lepidoptera and other enemies. The placement period and dosage depend on the biological cycle of the enemy. Replace pheromone capsules every 4-6 weeks.
Storage
Funnel trap does not require special storage conditions.
